Sport mode works around this quite well.
It's the press, pull out, realise it's slow, press more, hold tight as volume increases
and get off gas....
And I had a turbo before, albeit petrol....

Sport mode makes no difference to the delay on my D3.
Dealer is contacting LR Tech Rep to arrange a meeting and has confirmed that the hardware bits have been checked and are okay.
