I purchased my 06 HSE D3 9 months ago from a LR dealer with 12 months Approved LR warranty included.

Turns out there are two levels of LR warranty and I wasn't informed I had the lower level.
Found out this week when I had a problem with the AirCon and, guess what, the required part wasn't covered by the LR warranty.
So I had to pay out nearly £200 for the repair.

I am considering the WarrantyWise extended warranty. £60 per month, no excess and they confirmed that the air con part I required would have been covered if I had been with them.

£60 a month seems quite reasonable to be able to sleep well at night, IMHO! Rolling Eyes

Has anyone else had experience with WarrantyWise?

Not sure there is a right and a wrong answer but I bought a 3yr old D3 at auction with 30k and 3 years later it has done 60k and only problem so far was replacing discs and pads which you would expect. I have put £600 away each year so now as far as Im concerned I'm £1800 up but prepared for a bill at some stage.

You get a lot of people on here going on and on about how cheap they got their warranty but for me your simply buying an insurance policy and insurance companies are not charities they are commerical animals here to make a profit so you will probably have to fight them all the way just to get your money back.

So why bother just build up a sinking fund and get to know a good indi and your in control.

Was quids in - many times over in year 1 of Warranty Direct policy. No claims in year two. Currently with them on year 3. Been very pleased with them. Covered the stuff they said they would. Authorised through the Dealer 1-link system. You'll wish you had one if you have a claim for a new engine. Knew someone that claimed successfully for one through WD.

Same as my experiences. Thumbs Up Personally would never try to run one of these without a warranty, me being a non DIYer. Not looking forward to getting over 100k, then warranty choice/cover drops a lot. Big Cry Big Cry
