Main difference is the premium sat nav has 'off road' navigation and a lot of off road info about whats happening at each corner. I have an SE and I certinly wouldn't go for an HSE just to get that.
Another difference is that the standard satnav does not have TMC (Traffic Message Channel - Traffic information on your nav map), and the premium does (at least that's how it is here in Holland). However, the TMC module can be installed by the dealer to give you TMC on the standard satnav, if you want it. Over here, the TMC info is fairly accurate most of the time, UK members report that it is not so good in the UK... 2006 Zermatt Silver TDV6 'SE' Auto, Mantec sump guard, Frontrunner roofrack, Lightforce 140s, split charge system and... a Jetboil.
