D4 Driving Lamp Mounting Brackets |
|
Hi all...
Ive just bought a pair of Hella Black Magic Driving Lamps from the USA,was hoping to mount them onto the bumper of my Landmark with the Land Rover D4 Driving Lamp Brackets ,part No (VPLAV0020).Does anybody have these brackets fitted to their D4?,if so do you have any close up pictures of them?
Thanks Www.devonchilliman.co.uk

Just had a look at them, tbh I prefer the look of the D3 ones ,they seem a lot of money for what they are am I right in thinking that they are secured by a plate that goes under the grill ? Www.devonchilliman.co.uk

Firstknight....
They look great
I went to the dealers today to look at the brackets to make sure they would fit my lights(Hella Black Magic),which they do ,but I didn't realise that they are secured by a bracket that attaches under the bumper that in turn needs a 37mm hole drilling in the bumper .I was planning to do this myself but having seen what's involved I've changed my mind ,just incase I make a hash of it.I was told the job would take 2.75 - 3 hours labour !!!.So including the mounting kit and labour it is a whopping £435.00
Did you fit yours or was it a dealer,if so what were you charged ? Www.devonchilliman.co.uk

Yeovil LR fitted the mounts to mine in place of an A-Bar, as their release was delayed, otherwise I would have done them myself. As long as you have the right sized hole cutter and take your time you'll be fine.
I then had brackets made to convert the LR mounts to take Hellas the Hellas lights I have now.

Cheers - I had Lightforce LF170's on before the KC Slimlites and they looked odd (stuck out too far) so replaced them last week.
I had a local Indy fit the brackets for £80. He didn't know what what involved but gamely proceeded and didn't charge me more than his original estimate even though it took him much longer! Range Rover Evoque Dynamic Si4 Coupe Lux in Orkney Grey
