Hi Roberto,
This is my second V8 D3 - and has been trouble free once the enhancement programme was carried out. Did have a compressor failure early on but that's not V8 specifc and again is sorted if the car has had the enhancement done.
One thing to check is that the car has had a replacement fuel tank. There was a UK recall on 04 / 05 models petrol models (I'm sure someone will correct me if it includes early 06 too) and I'm guessing Europe-wide, to replace. Worth checking.
Mechanically though... it's superb and that V8? Well, I think you're going to be more than pleased D3 HSE V8...

Hi,
that V8 is registered in Germany in 12/2004 and has less than 15K miles on the clock (about 22.000 Kms). It's a SE with cloth upholstery (I preferred leather), but navigation, adaptative headlights (I prefer traditional headlights). Seems it's the typical ex-demo vehicle, as susch a low mileage is not common for a 2 year old vehicle.
I don't have access to the info, as I would need the VIN to pass it on to my dealer.
Then there's the money question. I need a leasing, ordinary loan won't go. My bank is checking the possibility to lease an imported 2nd hand car, very difficult indeed. So the Bank Manager is the one to hear. If he gives his approval, I'll buy a ticket to northern Germany and o back driving (with my OBDII scanner with me, just to be safe).
Thanks all. Mossy, as you are repeating engine, seems your previous experience was simply very good.
My head goes to the RRS or FFRR, but my heart goes for the Disco 3. And that will be Regards, Robert
