EPB not responding

Hi,

I have a problem with my EPB not working, worked fine yesterday but trying to put it on today - no response.
No fault messages in display, and the fuse looks okay (the one next to the battery).

Anyone experienced this before? Or know if theres another fuse I can look at, or other things I can check.

Thanks

- André

anyone? Must be something... no response at all when pulling the switch.. when turning key to ignition it shows the yellow (P) and a flash of the red (P). Both goes away - and no error messages in the display.

Is there a control module somewhere that I can check?

Could just be a faulty switch. Or a Problem with the wiring. Thumbs Up

Usual cause is a break in the wire / coroded connection usually behind FNS wheel arch which can cause a loss of power or a reduction. if the voltage is below 10.4V or something similar, the module will not respond. I can forward you the instructions on how to check if you like. It could also be a faulty switch, simple 2 minute job to take it out and try another. Thumbs Up

Thanks.

I stopped by the stealers in my frustration over this issue, and after resetting the brake module, clearing all other fault codes and so on... It finally throwed us a fault code for the brake switch!

Code was : Switch general electric failure

Anyone know where I can get a new one, and whats the cost of a new switch?

Speak to Nick @ Yeovil LR. The cost of postage is likely to be more than the cost of parts,!

Or get Glen 'cold n wet' to pick one up before he flies back in your direction. Thumbs Up
