Utter Lowlife Scum !!!
Well I live in a small conservation Georgian Market town just north of York.
When out cutting the grass on Sunday I noticed what I thought was a muddy ball scuff mark on my tailgate which broke a rear lightguard.
I put this down to scroats having a kick around when I was parked up at a service area on the M11 the day before.
http://www.disco4.com/forum/topic70838.html
However, walking back to my D4 yesterday morning [from an appointment] I noticed the odd way the light was reflecting on the rear wing.
Got closer an found a deep foot high dent right over the crease behind & above the filler flap on the rear OS wing.
Initially it's hard to see because it's white - that's why I didn't notice it earlier.
So transpires that it must've been scum that kicked in both the tailgate and the rear wing on Sat eve/early Sun!
Unfortunately nobody saw or heard anything!
Just back getting an estimate for repair ..... £892.71!!!
I won't rant, but the heading on my thread reveals what I think of them!
It just goes to show that lowlife scum aren't just prevelant in our big major cities, they're out in rural countryside also.
Oh, and apologies to the scroats at the M11 for the bad mouthing!...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Thanks, did think of that but there's a 'z' like kink along the line of the crease.
Also there's some paint chips.
So didn't reckon it's fixable from a dent man...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Be sure to report the whole thing to the local Police! Just in case yours wasn't the only vehicle targeted that night....
A while ago I found scratches on my rear tailgate - turned out that several neighbours had also suffered a similar fate. Local boy was eventually arrested and charged with the offence. Insurance paid out and my dealer did a great job repairing it.2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

I live in a beautiful village outside of Bath. Earlier this year one of the locals had a 16th birthday party and invited his friends.
Parents were in attendance but they still managed to get absolutely rat a d and trashed 16 cars including mine which was keyed down 4 panels requiring a full respray down one side. Fortunately when one of the neighbours called the police as it was going on they were only a minute away and had a field day arresting the scum, some of them still in the act!
3 were charged and the police have been very proactive in ensuring the full weight of the law is thrown at them. Even better, the insurance companies are going after them as well. Costs to me: £250 excess and £70 increase in premium and my post code being labelled a high crime area.
Ron was that you on the A1 near Boroughbridge yesterday 9ishHome of RLD Hidden winch mounts Spare wheel Locks Trailer Body Fabrication ray@rld-tech.co.uk D3/4 sump plates MY 14 sump plates and the Discovery Sport wheel protectors Discovery 5 wheel locks

That sounds like an excessive amount of money to repair a rear quarter. Are they taking the glass out? I understand there is a very good paintshop at Elvington (on the industrial Estate). Can't remember the name.Current:

Yep, very expensive ...... but that was a Nationwide body shop in Harrogate.
Have since received a £500 quote from my own LR dealer - Ripon Land Rover
Going in on Tue to be done.
Did get dent man out on Thurs, but he couldn't do.
Also shopped around local repairs and had a quote as low as £300.
But I wasn't confident on their ability.
Dont want a botch up on a 7 month old Vehicle.
£500 is still going to hurt though .....
