Mine shows less than 7.0 litres to 100km (which is the equivalent of 40MPG) on most long journeys, so it is not impossible for D4's to achieve these sorts of figures.... (And yes, the full tank lasts for almost 1000 km!) 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

Am now suffering from "D4 envy" That'll teach me not to go wandering around the D4 part of the forum

How do you get these mpg figures, I have averaged 23.26mpg in my Disco 4 over the four months that I have had it (3000miles). This is a genuine figure from filling to the brim and recording the fuel put in on the Road trip app on iphone.
Is my car not running right? I don't think I'm driving like a hooligan.

Not far off my figures, I've had mine since May and done about 7500 miles and am averaging 23.72mpg, that's brimming the tank each time. Cheers Ian

Mine mainly does long motorway journeys in Ireland (which are generally empty compared with motorways in the UK!), these roads tend to be long and with little need to slow down so one is going at a constant speed for anything up to an hour at a time depending on which motorway one os using. It also gets used on the Continent a lot, similar roads......
And mine's a manual....
But used in the City of Dublin and the economy goes down to around 30mpg.... 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

my mpg and average speed seem to be directly proportional between 20-25 then inversly proportional above that It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.
