Passenger door won't open from inside

Hi guys,
Got a problem with the passenger door,
key fob wasn't working so the wife unlocked the car with the emergency lock on the passenger side, got the problem sorted but now passenger door won't open from the inside.
Tried the emergency unlock proceedure again to try to reset it but still the same.
Any ideas?
