Do you have the park distance button next to the Hazrd light button? My 2011 has it there anyways, I assume the trailer probably has LED lights if the car is not picking it up. Or as Wiggs is suggesting above.

Yep goes off automatically when we connect our Airstream ! LR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF

Unlike the D3 ... The D4 has to have them enabled.... as it dosent shut of the parking sensors when something is plugged in the electrics G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
