Still nothing compared to the €2,100 we'd be expected to fork out each year on road tax for that particular engine over here in Ireland........and even on the 210bhp model it is still over a grand!
And quite likely to rise yet further in the December budget, though there will be riots if there are too many tax rises and no salary caps....

Just pointing out the material costs of ownership - whether the car does 25 or 35mpg or 15k or 30k on a set of tyres is relatively small over three years compared with depreciation.
Not trying to put you off as I feel that it is the best car around for the requirements you have. Hope you enjoy it if you buy it.
