Wax Oil
I had my 2009 D4 underside wax oiled recently. Good idea or bad? All opinions valued. 2016 D4 Landmark SDV6 (Euro6), Zanzibar (late run D4)

Well it was up on the lift already and it seemed too good an opportunity to miss. 2016 D4 Landmark SDV6 (Euro6), Zanzibar (late run D4)

The guys at Strathearn Engineering tacked it on to the end of my hidden winch install, charging 80 quid for the materials and a couple of hours to do it I think.
I haven't been under the car to have a look at the job but they did a great job of the winch so the waxoil is probably of a similar standard. They did at least remove teh spare wheel ...
Unfortunately it was the rust around bolts holding on the rear strong point which drove me to it and these didn't get addressed. My fault for not saying so beforehand. 2016 D4 Landmark SDV6 (Euro6), Zanzibar (late run D4)
