I once drove in Russia (moscow to st petersburg) and it was a really bad experience, there was absolutely no courtesy, people seem to get angry (or angrier) the moment they get in their cars. And yes as someone said the pedestrians just expect it and keep out of the cars way. Of course I didnt have a landrover then, so maybe with a little more size and road power the drive could have been more enjoyable.
