 "low coolant level" warning appeared on my message board yesterday so I checked and it needed a slight top up however warning message remains - so after a conversation with my local dealer it turns out they L/R have had a few of these and the coolant bottle is faulty - new one ordered under warranty - obviously. keep an eye on yours!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is an old issue, and shouldn't affect newer vehicles. VIN-range: 5A000360-6A367332 covers those that might experience this.
The problem is caused by a faulty float.

Mines an 06 model, and had coolant bottle replaced 3 weeks ago for this fault.
