DEMONSTRATORS
The Disco 3 sells itself because it drives so well,but the old TD5 was a different matter.I reckon the dealers used to chip or modify the demo TD5's to give more power.I test drove a demonstrator and placed an order,but the new car felt like there was 30bhp missing.Anyone else come across this?

The dealer I brought my first TD5 ceratinly had a couple of their demo's chipped, as he offered me the upgrade on my car (not a demo model).

Wife's D3 is an ex-demo, definately not chipped. The D3 HSE that we did the test drive in was same power as the new one we bought.

SHOULD ADD THAT THE CAR IN WHICH I HAD A TEST DRIVE WAS THE TD5 AND NOT A D3.
