FBH - Simple on off switch possible?
Hi
Apologies if this has been asked before......but I am wondering if it is possible to 'fire up' the FBH with a simple 'on/off' switch located somewhere on the body rather than the webasto timer unit?
I have bought a timer unit but no wonder whether it is overkill for what I want to do?
Anyone help?

Afraid not, the timer unit is the cheapest way to creating the required WBUS commands to control the FBH.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Earlier models of Webasto (not those fitted to D3s) could be controlled by applying ground or 12V to the control pin, so you may see references to this elsewhere on the web.

Like my wife's fbh fitted to her flander1,
kit from maplins remotely grounds it for a set period of time...
