D3 CHIP ON EBAY

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CHIP-FOR-RANGE-ROVER...dZViewItem

I have seen this on ebay for a while now and have noticed that they have dropped the starting price to £300,which is what i paid for mine.I think its worth every penny as it does make a noticeable diffrence espically when the car is fully loaded (as in amount of people not accessories) or when towing.
I think the advantage in one of these chips is that if you upgrade to another D3 you can simply remove and refit to the new one or if selling the vehicle you can remove and sell on.
I had one of these on my td5 which i sold on ebay to fund the new one for my D3.
Iam not on any commission nor do i no the seller of the chip i just think it could be a good buy for someone.

I wouldn't touch an add-on box for the D3.

They work by lying to the car with false values, they don't remap like JE or TC do. But each to their own, you can only speak as you find - if you're happy then why not pass on that info

Glynnne,

The box you have purchased is simply a 'resistor' that fools the engine into thinking that fuel pressure is too low. This results in artificially high fuel rail pressure 'behind' the injectors. It works effectively...but for how lomg???

Still, if it blows, it won't be too expensive to replace - the resistor, that is
