How much should I be paying to change?

Is anyone up on current deals?. I have been given a price from a LR Dealer to change my car. I currently have a TDV6 S manual.55 plate (Sept 05) with 19k on the clock. The car has a tow pack which is the only extra. The car is in Java black and immaculate. For £7.5K I can exchange into a brand new S (obviously old stock) automatic . Is this a good deal or should I be squeezing for more?

Shop around is the answer, I picked three of my nearest dealers to see who would come up with the best deal..............you'd be surprised how much they can vary Wink

Try Drivethedeal.com, for the best price without a PX or broadspeed.co.uk.

You should be getting 10% off list then satisfy yourself that they have given you a resonable amount as a PX.

You could even try selling it on Ebay or Autotrader, there were some nutty bids on a 2 year old SE with over 100k on it so a good one with 19k on the clock will fetch a good price. You could take the tow bar off and fit to the new one
