Sound system problem

Hello guys,

I'm having the following problem with my MY2012 Discovery 4 SE:

Sometimes, specially in the morning or when the cars stays some time without use, when i enter the car and start to drive, there is no sound from sound system. The icon in the monitor keeps gray and i try to turn on but i can't get anything. I try to increase volume and it doesn't work either.

Most curious is that if it turn of the car, lock it and wait some time, when i turn it on again, the sound system works ok.

Does anyone have any ideia of what kind of problem i might be having?

Thanks a lot!

PS: Sorry about my bad english, i only speak well portuguese and spanish

I have a Disco 3 (2005) and it did the exact same thing today for the first time (sound system on, CDs can change, FM/AM channels can be selected, etc., but no sound and volume control won't work). When I stopped, turned it off, took out the key and then restarted it... the stereo was working fine.
