they are stable, provided the surface you use them on is reasonably level and stable itself
Gas is easily available, the 100g cartridges give about an hours use - half a litre of water takes 2 - 3 minutes to bring to the boil
larger sizes of gas cartridges are available but only the 100g fits inside the 'pot'
there is an expansion kit available with a larger pan (for bacon ) stabilising feet and a pan support, i'll get a price for the kit if there is any interest

Could you fit other cartridges types ? I am especially thinking of the the French systems that would be easier for me to find !
But it sure seems to be a better system than the on which is available to me...

guys, i found the site i bought it from and it was an offer which is now removed. the price has now gone up to £53 + p&p.
when we were out in morocco myself Andrew, carl & craig all had different cookers, from other gas powered ones to a petrol one that set you on fire everytime you used it! the jet boil was by far the most used as it was the quickest cleanest way of cooking things, in the standard cup we cooked two rat packs and once myself and andrew were eating we could still cook carls before craig had put his burning legs out!
and guess who is coping me as i am the greatest!
thats correct people Tarquin of the followers i mean desert. I'm Powered by........Diesel

Looks like a really useful bit of kit. With the $ being almost free at the moment, well 1.94 to the £, we should be able to get a really good price. If we can, then I'll probably get two, need to know if the % discount applies to the accessories, as I like the idea of the coffee press & maybe the cooking pot.
Thanks, LT.
