Check out the recommended tow ball height from your caravan's manufacturer before you make a choice between fixed or removable tow bars. I tow to the max weight and theD3 is fantastic.

Cheers for all the advice etc. I am now the proud owner of a 56 plate D3 with a detachable tow bar. Sods law it was the 3rd one we looked at today as we went around the M25 from the bottom side first. If we had gone top side first we would have been home earlier and probably wouldn't have looked any further.

Managed to find one this weekend 56 plate with a few extras
Full main dealer history with the LR extended waranty and was just within my budget
