whats the best way to join 2 x 170 Amps Battery Cable to 1 x 170 Amp battery cable , so that live connectors/terminals dont touch anything of course Duncan

Can you not replace the cable to get them all on to the relevant terminals

that would mean running 4 battery cable down the chassis rails.
I really only want to run the extra cable less than 1m into the boot area.
I'll have a +ve and -ve running from the main battery to the rear bumper and wanted to take a join off into the boot for a possible Aux battery pack.
wanted to keep cables to a minimum as 4 x 10mm cables take up a lot of space. Duncan

that would be ok. ive got crimpers, could grease it up and screw it inside the boot or on chassis rail

how did you fit your Aux battery into the boot - it doesnt look as if it will fit, even though your photos show it obviosuly does ? Duncan

you could also use a battery isolator ..although you would need 2 ( or one isolator and one joining block )

read the 2nd page aswell as there was issues with it pushing the body panel out G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
