When using CONTROL + click I get the drop down box, select open in new tab from here this works fine. But not when using the "apple/command" key and click (which is a shortcut for CNTRL click and select "open in new tab"). I'm not saying there's nothing wrong at my end, but I wouldn't expect it to be preference or config related as you would see the same behaviour on other websites. I was more thinking along the lines of a javascript issue where the various versions may give different results for different users. This could also explain seeing the same behaviour in Firefox as in Safari.

OK, this would appear to be linked to the fact that Macs only have the single mouse button - and have to Ctrl+click where Windows users would right click.
I've modified the code again, but have no way of testing it without a Mac, so please have another try and let me know. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Macs don't have a single mouse button, the function of a left or a right click is perfectly obtainable depending on how you set up your mouse. DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Just wanted to say it is working fine for me also now after I just update chrome from V12 to V18 
EDIT: Just tried on the defender site and there it is still performing its old trick. So your magic touch on this forum must have worked Martin My mini defender (work in progress)
