Anyone want to swap 18" SE (style 1) wheels for 17" |
|
Hi Folks,
I bought a set of four 18" style 1 (5 spoke) wheels off a SE - with no tyres. Does anyone want to swap their D3 S 17" wheels for my 18"s?
Otherwise, I will sell these 18" wheels and buy some aftermarket 17"s wheels.
Cheers,
Rob

I think it's a case of get in line...
Pity there are not more 17" wheels available out of the showroom.
I know there are sources now of aftermarket 17" alloys, and steel wheels at least.
cheers,

Hi Simon,
Yeah - I know what you mean. I had to ask though!
Worst case scenario is that I just put General Grabber AT2s on the 18s and keep a big stock of spares.
Cheers

Sorry Rob, I won't be parting with my 17" but try a few dealers (in the bigger cities) as I mentioned in another thread that some owners may have bought an S and swapped for the better looking 18/19s as part of the sale.
Simon can you tell us more about the steel wheels (I am assuming 17") please?

Hi Nicko,
I think I will now keep the spare 18's - two for a trailer and two spares... and just use A/T tyres like General Grabbers.
Cheers,
Rob
