Thanks for the response!
When you say 'other wires' could you explain what/where please?
I'm not very DIY orientated

Unnecessary quote removed
I pulled out the connection to the terrain response system and one other - just left the EPB connection alone (because as you have found it is hard to remove). When the trim is only attached by the one connection to the EPB, there is plenty of slack and you can easily do what you need without removing it

Jobbypants wrote:Hi Fellas,
I'm hitting an issue during install. CanNOT get the electrical connector out of the EPB. Wrestled with it for 30 minutes last night but it will not budge.
Can you advise if it's just a straightforward pull/push socket or is there a release clip?....I couldn't see/feel one and it felt as if I was going to break it if I'd pulled any harder.
Cheers,
Ali
You do not need to remove any wire, both in the D3, D4MY11 and D4MY12, remove the centre console and lift it clear, there is enough roof to get to all that is needed by doing that, takes a few minutes to do. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

I can't seem to get the centre console off without disconnecting the EPB wire though (won't slide back far enough to it's' release gap' whilst still connected)....and I can't get the little disconnected!!
Bloody faff if you ask me!

Jobbypants - Are you trying to remove the complete centre console or just the cubby box?

I'm following instructions on one of the PDF's. It appears from those that I HAVE to remove the centre console in order to THEN remove the cubby box/insert fridge.
Or am I being a twit and reading it wrong?

First error - dont read instructions.
If you look at the post I made on here on Wednesday 2nd May, you will see the list of errors to avoid and how to fit the fridge.
I don't think you need to remove the whole centre consol.

BBDisco3/Jobbypants - don't forget the D3 and D4 consoles are different. The D3 console does require lifting. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
