| Front Screen Shade Part No: VPLFY0068 |

Has anybody had experience of this LR Front Screen Shade VPLFY0068 for their D4? It's listed here:
http://www.landrover.com/gb/en/lr/discovery-4/accessories/ - drop down to Touring items. No picture just description. Asked my dealer but they can't find it on the LR parts/accessories system - quite typical!
The LR D4 accessories brochure says "helps keep the car cool in sunshine". I presume its one of those foldaway ones you put up inside the windscreen/dash when parked. The standard ones you can buy are useless and and don't fit the D3 or 4 properly. I'm looking for something better to take on a driving holiday to south of France this year.

It's listed on the UK LR website plus the UK 2012 D4 brochure. Another LR  !?

I've seen a pic on google. It looks like a reinforced card that you put on the inside of the window. It has a silver side to reflect the heat in summer time.
You see these on the holiday beach resorts to stop the car and steering wheel getting red hot.
After living in Cyprus for 3 years I can confirm these do work.
Whether or not the LR one is worth the extra I don't know. Ian

I can remember these from the 90's !
They had wallace and gommit all over them !!!!!!!
No car left outside would be seen without one.................. Only dead fish go with the Flow !
