I take it you mean to stop it getting nicked?

I haven't yet, I just take it off if I'm not using it. I'm considering a hole through the ali base plate with a security fixing through it, padlocked to the roof rack. Would stop the opportunist.

I have one over here, good bit of kit,but watch out in windy weather, make sure it is secured well.Well made as well, handled two Cape trips, lots of corrogations,no worries.
Never heard of one being stolen here, what about a combination chain lock, like goes through a pushbike wheel?

Have spoken to Ben at Prospeed with reference to Foxwing and I asked the following..."can a Foxwing be fixed to the Land Rover full length rails ,ie if you don't have a roof rack fitted ?"...He wasn't too sure but suggested I ask the wise ones on here,so can they ? Thumbs Up

I don't think anyone has done it yet, but anything is possible!!

There are fittings for Rhino Rack cross bars (see http://www.boab.biz/pdfs/hd-fw-fittings.pdf), but these are significantly different to LR cross bars.

Found some more fittings here - http://www.rhinorack.com/AccSubCategory_Fo...83_61.aspx, including some to fit Thule bars.
