Hi all
Has any one had the bonnet open warning come up even when there is no issue.
Thoughts on how to fix or is this another steeler run?

Common issue with the bonnet switch - a search will turn up many threads, may need a tweak or replacement. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Switch is under bonnet latch on the drivers side.
Probably grease and dirt stopping switch lever from moving.
Mine cleared with a good spray of WD40 or RP7.
Otherwise replace switch.

Bonnet switch fixed
Did as suggested, removed, unplugged and cleaned.
One extra thing I did was re-tension little spring steel cam.
Works a treat  D3V8
