Engine will not start after EPB adjusted

I have just finished adjusting electronic parking brake. At system check I get various faults listed including HDC not available, Transmission fault, traction reduced, then when I turn key, lots of clicks, display panel blanks out and engine does not turn over. Help! Big Cry

Trying the trickle charger now coz not easy to get another car and battery near to jump start. Drawing 4 amps so hopeful that is issue. We were playing with EPB for three hours with rear up on axel stands, but I thought I had taken key out of ignition and everything was off. Time will tell. Time passing very slow.

Many thanks gvw, it was the battery, my jump leads just reached. Shame that amongst all the warning messages there is not one that says battery too low! Now I will be very battery aware when working on the car. Best bit is that I was only doing the EPB whilst waiting for Pete's remap to arrive, and it has. So off to play again Laughing

Have been there myself - that sinking feeling when youve fixed one problem but think you have just created another Banging Head

Glad all is well and it gives you an excuse to take it for a spin to get some charge into it Thumbs Up

As I found out when Flack did some work to mine, the battery flattens really quickly with the key in the ignition Shocked
