Rear spoiler fitting advice

Hi guys,
Just received the spoiler for my D4 but I am having trouble removing the centre rear break light cover off the rear. Does it have a screw fitment, or is it just a case of get a blade and towel under the lense and Lever it off. I would have thought it was screwed on, but I can't see any screws, or studs....help!

It's just stuck on with the same black mastic stuff they use to stick your windscreen in with - no screws. Bit of a Censored to get off without damage to the paintwork. The window guys have a sort of cheese wire device to cut through and around corners.

I think the spoiler is just stuck on with the same sticky stuff. Mine was fitted from new by the dealers... which I'm glad about because it's gone back under warranty twice with leaks. Still not fully sorted despite taking rear window out!

removal upper brakelight

Hi
You will not get the OE brakelight out without destroying it they use about a bloody tube of windscreen sealant
on it,I had to cut mine out and had to touch is the paint as well. the sealant is a nightmare to get off.
You have to make sure the sealant is properly removed or it will leak.
Remember that you will also have to reapply the new sealant in bucket loads as once its in position you dont want to try and remove it and re-postion it as it may leave little gaps that water can get through
cheers

I'm wondering if that's what the original dealer did to mine... still leaks a bit Evil or Very Mad
