This looks a pretty cheap deal -- 7-seater so presumably a base model but with air suspension.
Confirms my fears that my own 05 D3 auto with 30k miles is probably now valued at around £20k as a trade-in, less for a straight sale to a dealer.
Anyone had experience of 2nd hand values, tradeins etc etc, recently?

I bought a Auto S 2.7 05 with Mats Flaps, Phone Kit, Priv Glass with 30k on the clock for 22,500.
The Auto makes a difference and having slightly higher spec, ie Xenons heated seats, cruise etc also
I thought this was a good buy, the guy was offered 21750 as a trade in 15 3.0 RRS HSE - Silver
05 2.7TDV6 S AUTO Silver - Retro-fitted Leather.

I part exchanged my Base manual Cairns Blue D3 at the end of November for a Java BLACK Auto XS 8)
The dealer gave me £21K for the old car and matched an Internet quote on the new one.
With some very helpful assistance from kam100, I managed to get an excellent finance deal through Landrover with Capital Bank at 8%APR on a balanced payments plan.
Unfortunately I couldn't put my deal though Kam directly as the dealer pressured me into completing the transaction before the end of the month and this did not leave enough time for the paperwork.
Kam100 could have done an even better deal at 7.25% APR if time had been on my side. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for finance.
Last time I got stitched on an over expensive Landrover Freedom Finance PCP plan
I had 21663 miles on the clock of the old car but bare in mind it was a manual. The dealer gave me the px value without even looking at the car or asking about the mileage. A couple of days later they did walk around the car in the dark to take a look at the general condition but again no questions were asked about mileage and this subject was only raised at exchange of vehicles in order to complete the log book V5C for the old car. That looks fair but is it what chameleon went to look at . I got my silver
7 seater base with 24000 miles for £21000 and part ex'd mt td5 (black) and bmw 320d (black). My arm still aches from polishing both of them so i thought i would have the silver as that's what colour the d3 is.
