tilting drivers

Personally I am facinated by the driving style of (typical) young drivers of sport cars (or what they want to believe is something like a sports car).

Looking through the rear window you can notice that the driver's head is not where it should be (in fornt of the head rest).
No, instead the complete upper body is inclinated towards the middle of the car and the head is somewhere above the parking brake.

I wonder if the author of the article noticed this as well and what explanation he gives to this phenomen.

At least we sit upright like real gents in the traffic!

I think it has to do with the size of the steering wheel.

When I drive the company renault scenic, which has a mini steering wheel, it is clear that with one hand on the wheel you can't steer to much. With our massive wheel of the disco, with one hand you can steer wherever you need.

And finally crude oil is trading at $59 a barrel today so why the f**k are we still paying 91p ish for diesel? $80 down to $59 is about a 26% reduction. 102p down to 91p is about 11%. at least dick turpin wore a funny hat and mask Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Report TRL653 titled "Maintaining Progress Towards The 2010 Casualty Reduction Target 2004 Data" published in 2006 and prepared for the Road User Safety Division, Department of Transport shows that 4x4s are safer.

Search for TRL653 and have a look at the graph in Figure 4.14 on page 28 and you will see what I mean.

However, I have never heard this UK report, which was done for the Department of Transport, and the fact 4x4 are safer mentioned in the UK media.

The media seem more content in searching the world for anti 4x4 reports and repeating them.
