I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Hmmm...

Her: Fight the crowds at the super market Tuesday. Spend all day Wednesday cleaning the house for guests. Get up early Thursday to prepare the feast. After the feast the house will need cleaning again, and the pile of dishes washed.

Him: Get up early Thursday to go hunting. Watch football. Pig out. Take nap.

Wonder who's more thankful Laughing

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Having moved into this tradition - it is all rather odd Shocked

Thanksgiving is all about lots of Turkey and American Football, and a certain amount of drinking Laughing

Then at Christmas, a lot of people have ham, so the turkeys get a pass till next year.

More people travel for Thanksgiving than for Christmas, so it's a huge deal over here.

We get two days off this year for Thanksgiving, but only one day off at Christmas! Big Cry

As sideview noted - the food stores are completely blagged for days before - you can't get anywhere near them.

Then on Friday - we have 'Black Friday' - which is nothing to do with Obama, but is in fact a huge one day sale in stores, starting at 5am in many cases - sort of like the UK Boxing day sales.

Everyone goes crazy looking for bargains - especially electronics Thumbs Up

So as I said, rather odd, but what the Censored it's a free holiday! Mr. Green Mr. Green Mr. Green
