Camping / caravan weekend with off roading. |
|
Would anyone be interested if we were to run a camping / caravan weekend in the Midlands. We would have the use of a large off road course. The course has zero damage parts as well as more challenging parts.

The site is near Coventry / Solihull. Dates are flexible. We still need to agree on prices with the site owner. If feedback is good I'll start a new thread with a poll so we can see what people are interested in doing. There are also some green lanes in the area we could drive out to if there was an interest in that.

+1.
Me and the wife would be interested in hauling the tin tent up for a weekend.
We'd be bring 2 wee dogs too so would have to ensure both the site and course are ok with them coming along.

September 28th and October 5th
1st Overland in partnership with Heart of England are excited to announce a new experience in 4x4 driving.
Disco forum off roading and activity weekend
We have a 160 acre forest pay and play site that will test your ability whether driving a Range Rover or a Discovery 3 or 4.
A weekend for the whole family. Caravans or camping. Guest house accommodation may be available at an extra cost.
The site has a range of tests and tracks that are both kind and sympathetic to your pride and joy but will also show you how all that technology works that is built into your vehicle.
Location is Meriden near Solihull
We are situated about 15 minutes from both the M6 and A45 in the heart of Warwickshire within the Heart of England hotel and activity centre.
We can also arrange the following :
Archery
Quads
Clay pigeon shooting
Family tours around the off road course in a large 4x4 Truck
On site are showers, electric hook ups, toilets and a beach !!!
The site also offers an excellent restaurant.
For a complete package arriving Friday evening and including a night drive with us on the Friday night and leaving Sunday afternoon with two days pay and play (including one hour tuition) and caravan pitch the price is an excellent £175 per car.
Please feel free to call me with any questions 0800 0461649 or send me a PM

Off road caravanning weekends |
|
How did these weekends go, was there much interest and will you be doing any more?
It sounds great and I've managed to convince my wife that it would be fun and our precious d3 wouldn't get damaged!!
I know the car is capable of so much more than we do with it so the tuition side would be very interesting and wifey would love to have a go off road.
The only proviso she put on it is that i clean the car afterwards which is a given anyway, as if i would ever let her clean my baby!!
I hope the dogs on site aren't a problem, and is access ok for a massive twin axle caravan??
Wouldn't mind doing one before christmas if theres any chance??
