I have to say that I am as excited as I was when I ordered my first one over 7 years ago.
Looking forwards to playing with all the new toys on it too.
Would have liked the surround cameras, as they seem like fun, but they are not an option to build into a spec on the HSE Lux.
Still it has plenty of nice toys, cant wait to have toasty fingers in the cold warmed up by the heated steering wheel, and the timed climate too for those frosty days that will be upon us far too soon!!

Congratulations on the new car. I picked mine up last week and I am very happy.
The leather really is quite nice, as are all the toys.
Here is a picture of her, newly arrived home.
There are a couple more photos in my gallery, but I will add some more when I get some time.
Like you I went from a D3 HSE which I loved and I was a bit worried that I would be bored moving to a similar car. I can firmly say, that is not the case.

I'm afraid that mine has the ebony interior with contrast stitching. I am away on holiday at the moment but I will be back next week. I will try and upload some interior photos when I get back. Those shots are just a couple I took before I went on holiday.

Does yours have the Ivory interior like mine?
Is that the same as my lowly specced Landmark [apart from the new console layout]?

I haven't got a photo of mine as I am away on holiday, but here are a couple press shots. Neither is my configuration as I had ebony and ebony, but you will get the idea.
Do you think its the same? Kind of hard to tell.

Looking in the original dealer brief, here is what it said about the interior.
• Premium Windsor Leather interior
• Ivory with contrast stitch available for the first time in Windsor Leather
• Ebony alternative with contrast stitch
• Extended Windsor Leather Pack applied to fascia top, IP binnacle, door top rolls, door
armrests and door pulls
• Dark Zebrano veneer
• Perforated leather heated steering wheel in Ebony with bright switch tips (from Range Rover
Sport Autobiography)
• Twist pile luxury carpet mats with contrast edging

It doesn't look like the seats have that bl**dy stupid stitching down the centre of the seat squab like the Landmark's. Basically gives a hard edge to your rear and manages to catch on everything. So that's a big bonus!

I was not aware that the Landmark seats were any different, so we will have to wait to see what the real thing is like.
All the Landrover brochures don't even show the actual interior as it comes, its just a photoshoped version of the previous HSE Models, you can tell as it does not have the new rotary gear selector.Nige - 2014 Disco 4 TDV6 HSE Luxury - Scotia Grey
