for youi, it is probably best that you buy your own Faultmate MSV2 as its unlikely that there would be many Faultmate owners in your area.Bodsys Brake Bible

been thinking of it but it might be a waste since im just using it once.
there's only a few disco 4 in indonesia.
are there any other ways? like program it without auxiliary hardware? like press the brake pedal, press anything or else?
or can i activate it using the dealer's diagnostic tool? (i already asked my dealer but they didn't trained well i guess. they just using the diagnostic tool to reset the service and check the failure. they dont know how to activate the menu.)

If you just want to use the 4x4 info for the occasional trip, (or try it out) you can enable it temporarily. You'll need to do this each time you start the car though:
Turn on the ignition without starting the car.
Select any off road setting on the terrain response dial.
(you'll now see the terrain response setting on the screen)
Select the BACK button on the screen.
Now you have the 4x4 info screen.
Start the car and enjoy!
(remember to re-set the terrain response dial back to whatever you choose)

by the way.. do u know what to do or what should the dealer do to their diagnostic tool to enable this menu (e.g go to menu/set/bla..bla... )?
i've asked my dealer but they dunno how to do it. they would hand me the tools when i do service so i can enable it myself if i could. (am also interested on enabling the scandinavian drl) thanks...

If it is a franchised Land Rover Dealer as far as I know their diagnostic equipment can't enable the 4x4 info, as said earlier you will need somebody with either a faultmate or I believe the new IIDT Tool can enable it.Cheers Ian
