Hi,
Can I add two stroke oil to a petrol engine?
I currently use in both Land Rovers and was wondering what benefits it would have in a petrol car?
Any info appreciated.

IMHO, it would be of limited, if any benefit. 2SO would be useful in extremely high mileage motors, where the rings may not be sealing as well as they should. In a newish motor, all it would achieve is fouling the spark plugs.

In the past I have used Redex in petrol engines as an upper cylinder lubricant, but I can't imagine 2 stroke would help much in a petrol four stroke.
