great information this - the colour codes on the pdf's define the right housing required for the various connectors
for example, it seeems that LR using the purple/violet one for GSM/PCN phone aerial and the curry coloured one for companion cam video input on the rear of the screen, and so on....
i am tempted to order some, but any ideas on how to crimp them up?

Woodman,
I am going to order some for my phone antenna.
I have some crimp tools myslef, but also my car phone fitters tell me that the connectors as SMB are quite standard, and they have dies for their crimper.
Will give them a go, now if I can just work out which ones I really need?

So Nige (me being a bit thick like) are you nearly there with getting the dealer fit phone system working like the factory fit? Is this your intention? Is this something we are likley to be able to get someone to do for us?
Sorry for the questions, but I'm not technically minded, but my BT earpiece is driving me crazy DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Yep thats what I am working on.
As a stubborn engineer, when LR cust service tell me it can not be done, I have to do my level best to prove them wrong.
As far as fitting is concerned its not that hard, most items are included on the BT cradle, the other looms just plug in.
Not sure if I posted the picture of the cradel, will do so now.
Cheers,
