Another thing to consider here is that LR do not manufacture the tyres ...they will invite several tyre manufacturers to put forward suitable tyres for use on LR vehicles at the point of sale. I would suggest that they will give they weight and performance information of the vehicle to the tyre manufacturer and they will provide the appropriate tyre.
You may recall the ill-fated Ford Explorer in the US market, that kept blowing tyres and killing all around it, Firestone ISTR were ultimately held liable. I suspect that LR have an obvious obligation to print the recommendations in their Handbook, but I think that the tyre manufacturer at point of sale or any subsequent owner who will be responsible for ensuring that the tyres meet relevant specifications.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
