New D3
Hello to everybody,
I am going to order a new D3 in these days but having read many messages posted here over the months I am a little bit scared, do you think that most of the issues are solved with current production?
The fact is that the dealer is far away from my place and even if uder warranty I am afraid to wast too much time if problems are on a today's basis!
Morevore is there any plan for restyling for this model in short time?
Thanks
Franco

hello Franco
Go for it, you will get no more problems than with any other complicated vehicle....in fact most LR's (and this is true of D3's as well), the more you use them (sensibly of course) the better they seem to be.
Where in Italy are you?
sorry can't answer the other queires, but someone else will be along shortly no doubt.
Send of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

I've had mine for 4 months with no problem on or off road (Well except for the drivers incompetence, but even SN can't blame LR for that!)
Not aware of a facelift imminent & I haven't seen any spy pics flying around. Rumoured that the RRS will be updated in 2010/2012 so the D3 probably around 2012 at a guess.
The D3 does get minor updates twice a year, so the detailed spec may change in small ways.Bodsys Brake Bible

Hello Franco,
I have had mine for just over a month. It is the first Off Roader I have ever had. With the recent bad weather we have had in my part of the world it has been great for getting through floods so deep it was coming over the top of the bonnet but the car just kept going. I have also been on a lot of long runs and it is very comfotable.
Unlike other cars I have had nothing at all has gone wrong with the Disco and it is the first car I have owned where I would definately buy another.
If you dont buy one, trust me you will regret it.

Ciao Franco. Buy one, they are brilliant! I have had mine for 18 months, no problems other than the SatNav sometimes sends you on very odd routes! I use it on motorways, in and out of London , around town and it has been ski-ing several times. The kids love it etc, etc, Saluti, Enzo

Sorry can't remember who belongs to this car from Boughrood.

Had one for nearly two years - no meaningful issues. Few trips to the dealer. Throughly recommend one.
