So my advise to LR owners: Get rid of your car once it's at the age of 4 or has more than 120.000km
To people wanting to buy a secondhand: DON'T !!!!

Would make my beat up 06 S (100k) worth about 5.something grand!! At some stage D2s are going to command better prices than D3s. Wonder when it'll cost more to tax them than when they are worth. I blame the mild winter, no snow so no panic buying.
Alegedly.

Disco 2's have been dropping like a stone recently too. More and more of them suffereing from tinworm, and chassis crumbling... A replacement chassis is no longer available from LR, and there is currently only 1 place in the UK making them, and selling them at £2k... Makes a chassis swap a very expensive job, and so the prices are still falling...

Yet, Defenders keep on holding their value. I had a look around last year, and 10 year old TD5 station wagons still over 12k for a good low miles example.

We sold a 300TDi 90 (albeit on a Galv. chassis) a few months ago for 10k
They didn't even try and haggle on the price...My D3 Build Thread
