Hi..... well I got it..... most of it !!

The car itself is fantastic, and drives superbly well. Far better than I would believe, the 3.0 engine is an absolute peach, and I am sure I will spend the whole weekend working out the toys.

The only problem is that its a mis-build!! The Black design pack I ordered is only 50% present, it has a silver grill, and silver side vents, with silver lettering on the bonnet and tailgate, which look a bit odd against the black wheels, and door handles!

Obviously this was immediately apparent and caused a stir in the dealership, which happened to be playing host to a regional rep at the time!

However, this aside, I am more than happy with the remedial offer I have received from the DP, and it will be put right at no inconvenience to me whatsoever (exact opposite TBH)

Very nice!! Shame about the black, maybe they put your car I to rectification til the got the grill in but it never arrived?

PS You could just swap it with DG's at Gaydon. He'll never notice. Whistle

Question for you DG, does yours have the Grand Black Lacquer interior finishers? if so, are the steering wheel trims Grand Black too? mine are grey and I thought they too should be gloss black Confused

Yes .... should be Grand black with little blingy high polished steel endcap strips on the function buttons 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Stornaway D4. Gone, Didn't like it at all
D3 silver manual. Loved my first LR
