Side Tube Fitting Advice
The kids have fell out the car one to many times and SWMBO wants side steps, i personally prefer bars with tread
i have seen some on ebay and they say no drilling required except on HSE which requires one hole to be drilled, obviously id rather not drill, is this true on all steps/bars as i was under the impression all holes existed already?
Thanks

I don't have any and my kids have never fallen out, I would think again as there are pro's and cons to having them.
Pro's -
Help short people get in
Con's -
Dirty your trouser legs if you clip them getting in
Added weight, can get damaged in rough terrain
Collect mud and crap
The edging falls off over time as rivets fail
Another thing to go wrong

I fitted rock/tree sliders to my HSE and it has all the same bolt holes as other models. A few of mine did need to be cleaned out with a tap and the others had small round stickers covering them.

Thank you, does seem strange these need drilling. Will look at others.
