D4 Lack of power / throttle delay

My 2010 D4 has had an intermittent fault ever since we got it 18 months ago. It will suddenly get a hesitation in the throttle response, typically pulling out from a junction, so I give a bit more throttle and then it takes off with a lurch. It also is a pain in heavy traffic when trying to trickle along, the delay means that it's continually lurching.
Once its been parked overnight and cooled down it will be ok for a week or so.
The car had this fault when we test drove it but the dealer diagnosed a brake sensor problem (this cuts engine power when braking?) fixed it and we re-test drove it and was all fine.
However it keeps re-occurring; it's been in to dealer about five times now and each time they say it all sorted. Last time was in October, new sensor fitted has been fine - driving beautifully. Until yesterday fault came back with a vengeance - horrible to drive.
Land Rover Assistance on their way.
Anybody got any ideas - I want to get this fixed once and for all (warranty runs out in April)

There have been several threads about the hesitation problem but more on the new 8 speed box than the old 6 speed. LR don't seem to have a fix even now, but "they are looking into it !??" Rolling Eyes

Mine as well as several others have been back for new brake switches and switch adjustments.

Here's a recent thread that might help see if it's the same problem ................

Hesitation

I think occasional hesitation just comes with the territory for disco's. Both my d3 and now d4 have done it occasionally
