Do I buy a 210 or 255 commercial ??

Hi, i have ordered SE TDV6 which has 210 hp. Should get it next week. I will let you know how it feels then. In Finland you have to pay +5.000€ for 255hp so it was natural choise for me. Will remap if not pleased with power.

I'd suggest the 255...
I have the 245 (10MY) and one of my colleagues has the 255 and both are fabulous vehicles but I would be wary about dropping down to a 210...
The Fun Prevention Officer had a 160 F2 and yet when we changed it, went for the 150 rather than spending a bit more for the 190 and it's gutless heap of manure... D4 Commercial - 65 Plate, 2016MY

Def get the 255' mine is the 210 and you really notice it at speeds above 60' it just runs out of puff. Had a loan 255 for a while, much better

IIRC you can get the 210 and there is a remap or ecu exchange someone on here does that will get it upto 255 as it uses the same bits does it not? FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner

Engines are technically identical. Only difference in mapping.

I thought TDV6 meant turbo diesel and SDV6 meant sequential turbo i.e. two ?

garyemms1974 - she arrived today. 211 hp engine feels great but it has been snowing a lot today, so haven´t been able to drive very fast. First impressions are anyway very good - silent and powerful engine. I´m very happy with it Discovery MY13 4 TDV6 SE

Never noticed an issue, or seen a thread on 190bhp D3's being underpowered

Get a 210 version and get it mapped. Having gone down this route I looked if there was any physical difference between the two variants i.e different turbo, manifold, injectors etc but there isn't. Had a 210 mapped by Pete Bell to about 280bhp, very pleasing to drive. I'm sure if you give Pete a call he will give you chapter and verse Club Exped trailer
