does any body know this car
HI All,
Ive been offered this car for decent money but am unsure of its history, and to be fair its that good a price it seems to good to be true.
If anybody knows anything about this car please let me know before i part with my hard earned cash, if it turns out to be a scam ill post all the detail up to name and shame.

ive had the following messages from the person selling the car i say person coz in the ebay add its says its her car and her husband has worked on it but in the messages the email address is clearly from a bloke called zachary.

As promised, I've attached more photos of the car to this email. Hope they help you decide if this is what you are looking for. Before we continue I would like to tell you that I am not in UK, I got a job transfer last month and had to relocate to France.
This sale was not on my TO DO list so I left the car back home in Glasgow. I will get somebody to bring it to you if you decide to buy it. My friend will be traveling from a distance (Norwich) so I must be sure that you have the money available and not put him on the road based just on words.. I will pay the delivery costs so don't worry about them !
Like I already said, I will only sell my car through eBay ( BUY IT NOW PRICE - £ 5,000).
To start the selling procedure, you must send me your eBay ID. I will relist the car on eBay as a Private, Buy it now auction just for you.
You will receive an invoice from eBay confirming that our sale is registered with them. Because we will use eBay's return policy, your money will be insured by them and you will be able to ask for a refund if you are not satisfied with the car!
I agree with a 7 working days inspection period ( after the date of receipt of the car ). This means that you have 7 days to inspect it for any damages ( and the reg. documents) and decide if you want to keep it or not!
If by any reason (it has any hidden damage or it isn't as I describe it) you can reject the deal. In this case eBay will fully refund you and I will come and collect it on my cost.
If you agree with my terms, please send me the following:
1. your eBay ID ;
2. your full name and address ( city and post code where you want to receive the car ). My friend will put your address in his GPS and call you as soon as he is in your vicinity;
3. Phone # ;
If you will decide to not go through is not a problem I still quite have a few more offers from potential buyers.

If you do not want to proceed then no problem as I do understand. I can assure however that there is nothing wrong with the car .

Scam then for sure, ive messaged him back for the last 6 of the VIN number so that i can HPI check it, £5K is over £2.5K under book value.

advertised 7 times on Gumtree Belfast - Obviously dodgy but what or how does the advertiser benefit?

Isnt the D3 forum a wonderful thing, i knew it was to good to be true, half expected them to turn up at my door with a completely different car and get all heavy for the money.
im a bit older and wiser than that to part with that sort of money.

The garage where that is pictured is definitely in Sittingbourne,Kent 1000%! I lived there for 42 years! You guys are gonna be busier than a test bench in a plunger factory!

The scam is...there's no car. His 'mate' will 'deliver' it but you have to pay first so they know you're serious. The car will never turn up, you've lost your money.
Either the ebay ID is hijacked or they've got a couple of mates to give them feedback from fake ads! Unfortunately ebay seem unbothered even when it's blatantly obvious it's a scam. Everyday there is a scam listing on the home page and thousands of fake goods are being sold every minute.
NEVER buy any high end goods on ebay, guaranteed they're fake or it's a scam!You guys are gonna be busier than a test bench in a plunger factory!
