Well, you're not far off
I woke up several times to check whether it was time to get up yet.
Dealer lives in same village as me, so I'd arranged for him to pick me up so that I was there when they opened ... 7:30am!
Sort the paperwork & on the road about 09:00
Despite having owned Disco's continuously since 2001, I can honestly say that I drove away from there with the biggest grin on my face ever!
I've driven D4's, but even so, there's still nothing like that feeling of driving away in your own, and it exceeding your expectations.
Is it really that different to the D3? Oh YES.
Do I regret never having remapped the D3? yep.
I'll post some more pics of it over the weekend when the mods start  Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!
