Anyone know if it's possible to get a turbochip fitted here in Australia? or is it easier to import one? TDV6 HSE Zambezi/Tundra

Browsing thru issue 97 of Australian 4WD Monthly and read of a company in Melbourne that does something similar to Chris' LRTuning upgrade.
The article makes it a most desirable upgrade:
- Power up from 140 kW to 185 kW
- Torque up from 440 Nm @ 2455 rpm to 545 Nm @ 2598 revs.
And on top of that increase in GO, the fuel economy is improved but definitive figures were not given in the article.
Cost? - $950 and about 1 hour of your time. LeighW

leigh,
I read the mag tonight on my way back from brisbane....the article contains a lot of bulls**t.....I'd happily go back to back with him any day in a performance competition.....and I doubt that he's spent 'hundreds of hours researching' the TDV6 as the advert...sorry I mean....article refers to!

Thanks Chris - I was wondering if you had seen the article, esp now that you are in Australia.
Can you give me approximate figures for the LRTuning upgrade please? PM if you prefer.
Regards, Leigh LeighW

I have just joined the forum and read with interest the discussion about performance upgrades for the TDV6.
What is wrong with the performance upgrade (not a chip) featured in 4X4Monthly?
What other organisations offer performance upgrades for the TDV6?
Any in Adelaide?
