The MXS 10 can be plugged in to your towing Plug (adaptors available in site shop)
The MXS 25 is too powerful for towing adaptorPeter
I have the MSX 7, it's all you need, low enough ampage to be plugged into the white tow socket to charge and it has supply mode to allow you to remove the battery if needed without loosing ECU power for clocks, radio, trip settings etc Altox GSM FBH controller thread

I've had the Ctek MXS 3.6, 7, 10 & 25 Amp. The 25 Amp is only needed for those doing reprogramming and the 3.6 is best for vehicles smaller than a D3/D4. I still have the 7 & the 10 in regular use and the 10 is easily my favourite. It is strong enough to recover a difficult battery, provides enough current for me to provide protection during simple IID reprogramming and has the automatic temp adjustment feature with the temp probe and retains it compatibility with the comfort connectors.
Given the price difference between the 7 & the 10 I usually recommend the 10 Amp, but you will not be disappointed with the MXS7 either.
