Old car gone, new one not here...

Ordered my D4 XS back at the end of January through an online broker, and have been pondering what to do with my old car. It was in for a service at the dealer (Volvo) and they asked if I was thinking of changing, and made me an offer of about £2k more than the fairly derisory trade in I've been offered by the broker.

So today I dropped it off for them to show to a prospective buyer - and he's only gorn and bought it.

So now I'm carless for 6-8 weeks. The Volvo dealer are going to try to sort me a hire car for a couple of months - I did ask them about hiring a Discovery: £1440 a month!!

So not sure what I'll be driving from Wednesday!

Hope my D4 turns up soon...

Apparently £1440 is with the dealer's discount - should be £1800.

The online broker will provide me with a car for £300 a month if the worst comes to the worst.
